Amy Barlow is an Associate Professor and Reference Librarian at the Adams Library. She enjoys teaching students how to approach their research with equal parts creativity, discipline, and resourcefulness. She teaches Raid the Collections: Making Discoveries in Rhode Island College Collections (FYS 100).

Amy’s scholarship focuses on collections-based learning, digital humanities, and library teaching practices. She is published in the Journal of Electronic Resources Librarianship, Weave, Reference and User Services Quarterly, The Experiential Library, and has a forthcoming chapter in Teaching Critical Reading Skills (ACRL Press).
