Amy Barlow is an Associate Professor and Reference Librarian. She enjoys teaching students how to approach their research with equal parts creativity, discipline, and resourcefulness. She teaches Raid the Collections: Making Discoveries in Rhode Island College Collections (FYS 100).
Amy’s scholarship focuses on collections-based learning, digital humanities, and public history. She is published in the Journal of Electronic Resources Librarianship, Reference and User Services Quarterly, The Experiential Library, and most recently in Teaching Critical Reading Skills (ACRL Press 2023).
