The Adams Library offers many services for RIC students, including borrowing, access to databases, guides for technology, and more. Your RIC ID card functions as a library card which is used for borrowing materials at RIC and HELIN libraries.
Lending Books are lent for 28 days, with an overdue grace period of 7 days. DVDs and CDs use the same lending periods as Browsing books. For questions about your library account, contact the Borrowing Services Desk at 401-456-8126.
Technology Lending Information about the Adams Library’s technological services can be found here. For additional questions, contact the Reserve Desk at 401-456-8126.
In order to use RIC’s many offered databases while not on campus, you will be prompted to log in with your RIC User ID (e.g. jsmith or jsmith_1234) and password. For questions about performing research and finding articles in databases, contact the Reference Desk at 401-456-8125.
