Deadline Date for Submitting Course Reserve requests
Fall 2021: Faculty should submit by Friday, August 13th
Starting with summer session, the library will allow print course reserves. Items will not be quarantined. Faculty are strongly encouraged to submit e-reserves processing requests for book chapters and articles. Library staff are able to make 10% or less of a whole book available via e-reserves. Faculty are also encouraged to contact their library liaison in order to find electronic versions of print materials or alternative reading or viewing materials.
Course reserve processing requests may take up to 7 business days for processing.
The Borrowing Services Desk maintains a collection of materials placed on reserve by faculty to ensure that required course reading is available to students. Reserve material can be borrowed from 3 hours to 1 week. A valid RIC ID is required to borrow reserve materials.
The Borrowing Services Desk is located on the 3rd floor of the library. Reserve material is available all the hours the library is open and in some cases 24/7 via electronic reserves from the library's website.
Access Reserve Lists
Reserve lists can be accessed from the library's website by the professor's last name or course. In addition, some Reserve material can be accessed electronically from Reserve lists.
