Course Reserves

This LibGuide will help students and faculty access Course Reserve services and materials.

Deadline Date for Submitting Course Reserve requests

Spring 2021: Course reserves submissions due by January 8, 2021

Course reserve processing requests received by the deadline date are guaranteed to be ready for the first week of classes. Requests received after the deadline date may take up to 7 business days for processing. Only e-reserves processing requests will be allowed for spring 2021 semester due to COVID-19 restrictions. No print reserves will be offered.

Course Reserves

The Borrowing Services Desk maintains a collection of materials placed on reserve by faculty to ensure that required course reading is available to students. Reserve material can be borrowed from 3 hours to 1 week. A valid RIC ID is required to borrow reserve materials.

The Borrowing Services Desk is located on the 3rd floor of the library. Reserve material is available all the hours the library is open and in some cases 24/7 via electronic reserves from the library's website.

Access Reserve Lists

Reserve lists can be accessed from the library's website by the professor's last name or course. In addition, some Reserve material can be accessed electronically from Reserve lists.
