For this assignment sequence, you have been asked to explore a research question inspired by a noteworthy guest on The Dick Cavett Show. In order to learn as much as possible about the guest and his/her/their cultural significance, you should find and engage with outside sources to bring depth and breadth to your exploratory paper.

 

This guide will help you to:

  • Access recommended sources for finding biographical information
  • Identify and search for popular secondary sources of information, such as news articles, magazine articles, and reports
  • Identify and search for scholarly secondary sources, such as academic journal articles
  • Set-up Google Scholar
  • Document your sources in MLA style
