Google Scholar

Setting-up Google Scholar Library Links

Google Scholar is a search engine for finding references to journal articles and other academic sources. Google Scholar will also show you how many times an article has been cited and by whom. When you are on campus, Google Scholar should automatically recognize that you are searching for articles at RIC and display the full-text links. If you are off-campus, you will need to set-up a "Library Link" to Rhode Island College using your Google account.

To set up “Library Links” in your Google account:

  1. Go to http://scholar.google.com/ and click “Sign in” in the top right corner.

  1. Once signed-in, click the bar icon in the top left corner.
