By using permalinks to share library resources in Blackboard the library gets a better count of which databases and journals are being used across campus. When you download and share directly on Blackboard our databases count that as one use, when in reality your whole class may view the article, examine the image, or evaluate the test.
Sending students to the databases and online collections provides a more accurate picture of use and helps us make decisions about curriculum needs and subscription renewals.
