  • How did the author(s) measure what they were studying?

  • What were the author(s) comparing, measuring, or correlating?

  • Look over the tables and figures to get some sense of whether the results supported the hypotheses: Did the results support or fail to support hypotheses of the author(s)?

  • What were the author(s) conclusions? What are your own conclusions after reading the article? You may or may not agree with the author[s]. Whether you agree or disagree or partially agree, please explain why.

  • What limitations of the research did the authors provide? If you feel there were additional limitations of the research, please state those.

  • What ideas for future research were presented by the author(s)? What are some of your own ideas based on this research? You may or may not agree with the author[s]. Whether you agree or disagree or partially agree, please explain why.
