Instructions for RIC faculty, staff and students who use SciFinder.

About SciFinder Scholar

SciFinder is a research discovery tool that allows individuals to explore literature from many scientific disciplines including chemistry, biomedical sciences, engineering, materials science, agricultural science, and other fields. Supporting its specific strength in chemistry, it uniquely allows users to draw chemical structures or reactions and search on these drawings, as well as searching by chemical formula, patent information and substance identifier.

Access to this resource is limited to students, staff, and faculty of Rhode Island College.

New users must use their official RIC login credentials (the dsousa_1234 part of your campus email address + your password) in order to access the SciFinder registration page (see the pdf "How to Register for SciFinder Access" below). 

You should be able to complete the registration process independently by using the instructions below labelled How to Register for SciFinder Access.
