Art in the Library

The James P. Adams Library has several original works of art on permanent exhibit. This guide is intended to showcase the library's art collection and the artists whose works are on display.

The Evolution of Writing

This mural was created by the students of Munir Mohammed during the spring, 2012 semester.  It was located on Level 1A in the Library.

Munir Mohammed has also exhibited at the School of Social Work, created a mural at the office of Oasis International on Broad Street in Providence, organized the painting of a mural at Billy Taylor Park in Providence, and created a mural along the bike path of the Woonasquatucket River.
