Academic Search Complete draws from resources in every discipline but also provides many kinds of limiters, so you can focus a search on only one topic, only full text articles, only English language, only certain dates, etc. To find out ABOUT an author, look her up as a subject; to find articles BY her, select "AU Author" as shown below.
In Academic Search Complete, subject terms are displayed under each citation. If you see a few articles that fit your topic, you can filter out irrelevant articles by doing a new search using the terms you saw under the relevant articles and limiting to "SU Subject Terms" before you press "Search."
