2022 Winners

The Library Outreach Committee is pleased to announce that Josephine Johnson and Ayden Mudd have been awarded the 2022 Friends of the Adams Library First Year Research Prize.

Josephine Johnson and Ayden Mudd are the authors of "Nanoparticles as a Means of Inflammatory Arthritis Medication Delivery," an outstanding collaborative presentation that provides clear and engaging explanations of laboratory research, undertaken with Dr. Jamie Towle-Weicksel (Associate Professor of Chemistry), to advance the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. The committee also cited Johnson and Mudd's superior choice of secondary literature to frame the research problem as a determining factor in their award.

A reception in their honor will be held at 4pm on Thursday, April 21, 2022, in the Library's Reinhardt Room. Please join us in celebrating Josephine Johnson and Ayden Mudd for a (research) job well done!
