Pictures of Nursing: The Zwerdling Postcard Collection
The Adams Library has been invited by the Exhibition Program of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to be one of the early hosts of the traveling exhibition—Pictures of Nursing: the Zwerdling Postcard Collection. This exhibit, which will be on display at the library from January 19 - February 28 2015, introduces and highlights a unique archive of 2,588 nursing related postcards from the NLM and will incorporate online web access to the entire digitized collection of postcards. The exhibit opening, currently planned for January 28, 2015, will also celebrate the 45th anniversary of the RIC nursing program (1970).
