• Try a title or keyword search in HELIN.

• Need a book now? Limit your HELIN results by Location: RIC

• Pay attention to the publication date. Try to find recent titles when possible.

• Notice the publisher of the book. A book published by a university press is considered a scholarly work.

• Use bibliographies in your class readings and textbooks to discover titles of books and then search for those books in HELIN.

• When in doubt, ask a Reference Librarian.
