Ann has had a varied career across many different types and functions in libraries, including reference and instruction, metadata, archives and special collections and corporate knowledge management. For the past 11 years, she has focused on improving the connection between technical services and the library's patron-based services. She advocates for the library work done behind the scenes and strives to demystify metadata and acquisitions for everyone.
When she's not at RIC, Ann enjoys traveling, going to concerts, visiting museums and listening to podcasts.
