Art in the Library

The James P. Adams Library has several original works of art on permanent exhibit. This guide is intended to showcase the library's art collection and the artists whose works are on display.

You Are Here - Spring, 2012 - Spring, 2012

"You Are Here" was a mural created by the students in Art 201, Visual Arts in Society. James Montford, Director of the Bannister Gallery, and Library Director Hedi BenAicha worked together to find a suitable space in the library for the students to paint, and decided upon the wall on level 1A.  The students worked for two semesters to create this collaborative work.

Some of the students who created this work of art are pictured above with James Montford (second from left).  A complete list of Art 201 students is in the column at left.
