Out-of-state RIC students can get a library card from the Providence Community Libraries.
To get your card, go to a library branch with:
- Proof of Providence residence - campus or off campus: mail from RIC is a great way to show you are a student and your address; a lease; bills.
- A photo ID: driver's license, RIC ID, state ID.
Library cards from the Providence Community Libraries are also Ocean State Library cards and can be used at any Ocean State Library.
