Adams Library

Adams Library provides research support through reference services, library instruction and one-on-one student research assistance sessions. Through all of these services, improving student research fluency is the goal. The liaison librarians collaborate with faculty to ensure collection and services meet the unique needs of each department, while working together to create a library instruction program in support of the college curriculum as a whole.

The library's collections: print, electronic, streaming media, special collections and government publications serve to support student engagement with their area of study beyond the classroom texts. As research develops, librarians can aide students and faculty in finding information beyond these collections, through shared library resources in the state and beyond.

Student and faculty publications can be shared and stored in the Digital CommonsThis digital repository contains archives, departmental and research documents and showcases the Adams Library's Special Collections. DigitalCommons@RIC invites and encourages the Rhode Island College community to submit scholarly and other documents for long-term preservation and electronic access.
