Help us document and preserve the RIC community's experience of the COVID-19 pandemic by sharing your story.
You may submit images, audio or video recordings, written narratives, and other digital record of your experiences. Consider sharing your experiences dealing with closures, phased reopenings, changing work environments, working and/or learning from home, social distancing, illness* and self-quarantine. We live in an unprecedented time, and your story will be of value for generations to come.
We may contribute your submission to a Rhode Island College Collection in the Rhode Island Covid-19 Archive, a Community Collecting Initiative hosted by the Rhode Island Historical Society and the Providence Public Library.
The following form allows for submission of five items. If you wish to submit more than five items, you may complete the form multiple times or contact firstname.lastname@example.org for instructions about batch submission of many items.
*If you share experiences regarding illness, please note that personal health information is legally protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Although you may freely share information about yourself, you must not include personally identifiable health information about another person or persons, or information that could allow a third party to identify other people. At the time of submission you will be asked to agree to a Personal Health Information Agreement that addresses this. Please let us know if you have questions.
