  • Develop research questions for your simulated research study
  • Give ideas for finding secondary research to support your questions and findings.


Donut ImageDevelop your own simulated research study for "Honey Dew Donuts".  Decide on the consumer issues on which the management might want to glean information.  These are the questions the owner would want researched to go into questionnaires.  


Once you have all the issues identified you will develop your own questionnaires, construct your own simulated data e.g. 400 sample responses, analyze the data, form conclusions and further insights, present an oral report to the class, and write up a final report.  



  • customer demographics, competition, prices, times of day when frequented, products offered, menu/food, drinks, layout, ambiance, music, location, parking, etc.
