Magazine and Newspaper Resources

Magazines and Newspapers generally offer articles which contain facts and circumstances around news events and popular and controversial issues. Such publications usually include editorials and other opinion pieces. These publications also may tend to one side or another of the political spectrum i.e. Liberal, Conservative, Libertarian, etc. This libguide at Pace University includes a table showing these different leanings for many well know magazines and newspapers. A publication titled Magazines for Libraries (REF Z6941.M23) can provide this information as well.

Education Full Text is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles from English-language periodicals and books relating to education. Abstracting coverage begins with January 1994. Full-text coverage begins in January 1996.
Education Index Retrospective seamlessly adds more than half a century of coverage with citations to some 850,000 articles, including book reviews, dating back as far as 1929.
